RPow wins the Claner Award for innovation in energy storage!

30 de May de 2025

RPow has been awarded the “Luz de Andalucía” Prize by CLANER, the Andalusian Renewable Energy Association, in the first edition of the Horizonte Sostenible Awards.

This recognition highlights our role in the H2 24/7 project, a green hydrogen pilot plant to be located in the Port of Seville, which incorporates an innovative energy storage system. The thermal storage technology developed by RPow has been key to optimizing the operation of the electrolyzer, allowing hydrogen to be produced more efficiently and around the clock.

We sincerely thank CLANER and the jury for this recognition and, of course, we share this award with our partner in the project, H2B2 Electrolysis Technologies, with whom we work closely to bring this innovative initiative to life.

Congratulations also to the other award winners and honorees of this first edition of the Horizonte Sostenible Awards: Endesa, BRUC, BNZ, Fundación Descubre, and the mayor of Carmona, Juan Ávila. We look forward to seeing everyone at the awards ceremony on June 17 in Seville.

As seen in the photo distributed by the Junta de Andalucía, the jury was chaired by the Minister of Sustainability and Environment, Catalina García. Other members included the Honorary President of INERCO, Vicente Cortés; the Dean of the Official College of Industrial Engineers of Western Andalusia, Juan Carlos Durán; the President of the Migres Foundation, Miguel Ferrer; the Head of the Energy and Environment Area of INTA, Fernando Isorna; the Delegate of REDEIA in Andalusia, Jorge Juan Jiménez; the Secretary General of Energy of the Junta de Andalucía, Manuel Larrasa; the Secretary General of Environment and Climate Change of the Junta de Andalucía, María López; the General Director of Texla, Miguel Montero; the President of the Wind Business Association, Rocío Sicre; and the President of CLANER, Alfonso Vargas.
