We announce the launch of the Wulkan Energy Hydrogen Academy at the National Green Hydrogen Congress in Huelva
Wulkan Energy has officially announced the creation of the ‘Academia del Hidrógeno’ or Hydrogen Academy, a pioneering initiative aimed at training professionals in the green hydrogen sector. The announcement was made during the 2nd National Green Hydrogen Congress, held in Huelva, and presented by César Martín-Montalvo, CEO of both RPow and Wulkan Energy.
The Hydrogen Academy was created with a clear objective: to reduce the gap between the rapid advancement of this technology and the shortage of skilled technical professionals capable of working safely and efficiently with hydrogen. The training program will focus on safety, operation, and hydrogen transport—three key areas for its industrial deployment.
This initiative is based on the extensive experience of ASE Group in specialized training, recognized throughout Europe, and is complemented by RPow’s technical expertise in energy storage and efficiency. Adapting this training to Spanish-speaking contexts will broaden its reach and offer new opportunities in emerging markets in Southern Europe and Latin America.
The presence of RPow and Wulkan Energy at this congress, alongside ASE Group, highlights the consortium’s strong commitment to the industrial development of green hydrogen in Spain—not only through technology, but also through the training of the human capital necessary to make it a reality.
The National Green Hydrogen Congress has established itself as a key platform for companies, institutions, and experts who are leading this energy transition. In this context, the launch of the Hydrogen Academy represents a solid step toward building a skilled and resilient professional ecosystem capable of meeting the challenges of a growing industry.
